    Ferdinando (Nani) Beccalli-Falco apologises: "I'm sick as a dog today. I was bitten by an insect in India last week. I woke up with this bite on my leg, but I had to catch a flight so I just got dressed and ignored it. When I arrived home, I pulled my sock down and had a look and it was like this (he indicates a wound roughly the size of a grapefruit). I've had a terrible fever ever since."
