    James Brownlee, (ee, ey & y) (farm laborer) farmer[1] born 1804[2] at County Armagh in Northern Ireland. He was married on 2 June 1830 in Eglish Parish, Armagh to Jane (or Mary Jane Wilson[3][4]) Callen who died in Ireland. He left Ireland as a widower along with his brother and sister in law and his five children, James, Elizabeth, William, John and Thomas, arriving in Sydney Australia on 16 October 1852 aboard the “Irene” (could not read or write according to ships records[5]), where each family paid £10.0.0. James died in Wollongong on 17 February 1890[6]/[7] and was buried in Wollongong Wesleyan.
